If you’re looking for a little bit of sunshine and happen to be in Greenwich then head to Black Vanilla where their rainbow offering of gelato and sorbetto cannot fail to bring a smile to your face.

They use only fresh fruit and work with local independent producers to provide seasonal flavours and deliciousness. There are no preservatives, additives or any kind of bad stuff in this ice cream.

The flavours change on a daily basis to reflect the seasons (and I think it’s to keep you coming back for more). I tried the Fortum & Mason Green Tea Sorbetto and the Vanilla Gelato with Woodford Reserve Bourbon Salted Caramel. Both delicious and surprising.

I can’t wait to try more – and will definitely be back  – and not just in the summer.
